IF THIS FEELS FAMILIAR

Bedtime stretches longer.

They ask big questions that are hard to answer.

You try to stay calm, but something in you feels activated too.

Am I saying the right thing?

Am I doing enough?

Why does this feel so hard sometimes?

WHAT THIS IS

Dependable support

that stays with you.

A simple, ongoing space that helps you build a shared language for worries and wellbeing with your child, so you can understand what they are feeling and respond with more confidence.

This is...

✓ Calm, therapy-informed support from an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist

✓ Grounded in how children and grownups experience worry together

✓ Designed for children aged five to eleven, and the grownups beside them

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Everything available from the moment you join.

The podcast, the resources, the community. All of it, from day one.

SUPPORT FOR YOU

Not just for your child. For you too.

Many grownups arrive here having focused entirely on their child's experience. This community holds space for the adult in the room too.

  • Short, practical therapy-informed guidance you can read and use the same day

  • A daily check-in space with no pressure to perform or report, just somewhere to arrive

  • A community of grownups who recognise what you are carrying

  • A place for the things that are hard to say elsewhere

  • Regular live sessions with Amy, where you can breathe, reflect, and feel less alone in what you are carrying

FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD TOGETHER

Gentle, fun and imaginative therapeutic resources that make worry easier to talk about.

Designed to build a shared language between you and your child. Lightly, playfully, in your own time. No homework feeling. No pressure to do it right.

  • Short animations followed by simple conversation prompts, a gentle way into talking about feelings together

e.g. "Time for a Chat" sheets

  • Playful, imaginative activities that help children explore worry through creativity rather than conversation

    e.g. "The Curiosity Wheel"

  • Simple games that build connection and a sense of belonging between you and your child

    e.g. "Belonging Bingo"

When you join, you will be welcomed in and gently shown where to begin.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO ARRIVE

ou join, read a few words that sound like your own thoughts, and feel your shoulders soften. You are allowed to begin exactly where you are.

THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY

The Worry Wizard at Bedtime.

Bedtime is when worries often arrive. For children, it is when thoughts get louder. For grownups, it is when energy is lowest.

Not tips. Not techniques. Something gentler.

A space where worries can be heard, and where you feel supported beside your child.

EPISODE TYPE 1

Grownups listen first.

A short episode for you, on your own, with gentle pauses where Amy reflects alongside family therapist Denise Bevan. So you can arrive at bedtime feeling steadier and more prepared.

When you have already sat with the ideas yourself, something shifts. Children feel that steadiness.

EPISODE TYPE 2

Listen together.

A shared experience with your child. Each episode includes:

A real wondering from a child

A poem

A gentle affirmation

Simple tools

A sleepy ending

Sometimes your child will want to talk. Sometimes they will simply settle. Both are completely fine.

Two kinds of episodes. One shared experience.

WHO THIS IS LED BY

Amy Smythe, accredited counsellor and psychotherapist.

Amy has over twenty years of experience supporting children and families. The Worry Wizard Community is built on her therapeutic practice. Warm, unhurried, and deeply attuned to how worry is experienced by children and the grownups beside them.

This is not an anxiety management service. It is a shared language platform. The community builds understanding between you and your child, and within yourself..

You do not need to

keep up here.

You do not need to

use everything.

You can come and go

as you need.

QUESTIONS

A few things grownups often wonder before joining.

What if my child does not want to join in?

That is completely fine. The support meets you first. You can use what you learn in everyday moments, and your child does not need to take part for it to help.

Do I need any experience or training?

No. Everything is written for grownups, not therapists. If you can read your child a bedtime story, you can use what is inside this community.

What if I cannot keep up or miss things?

There is nothing to keep up with. Come and go as you need. There is no "behind" here.

How long should I stay?

As long as it feels helpful. No minimum commitment. Cancel anytime.
